Hunger hormones like ghrelin produced in your stomach increase the longer you go without food so by dinner time you will be more hungry and more likely to binge. For this reason, I eat 3 sensible meals a day and feel it’s great for my body.

Makes sense

As someone who is short (5’0) and doesn’t have great genes in terms of health and weight it’s really detrimental for me to eat more than 1200 calories

I’m already on the heavier end of the “healthy weight” bmi

honestly v tough for shorter folks if you're in the US - most food is portioned out for a 2000kcal a day diet

I would use a calorie calculator to recommend a deficit that’s no more than .5 to 1 pound lost per week. It’s better to go moderate and choose a .5 pound weight loss because it’s more sustainable.

You also want to up the reps if you are too comfortable or use a body vest to add weight if your just doing calisthenics
