In, general, the subject is determining the malefemaleness, so, you are correct, since you’re talking about “your Spanish” (tu Español) and since languages are masculine, you use the masculine. “Mi espanol no es bueno pero no malo” although I myself don’t know if it’s awkward to express it like this.
