I’m still debating, it has to be powerful enough that I can work from it. Macbook Air is also an option, but I feel it would be a defeat to go with Apple.
Also half considering that UK company that does custom linux laptops.
I don’t know much about them yet.
It’s hard to find any ultralight laptop with long battery life that runs linux, so that’s why am considering putting up with windows and emulation until ubuntu is ready to support this new wave of laptops
O have a Lenovo thinkbook
If there was a kit platform that could be tuned for light weight and long battery life, that’s an idea for an improvement, then I could get something less optimal in the short term, I need baby steps
The think pad x1 carbon would work, but it’s so pricey
Price on em these days turn me off
Same, I don’t think it’s worth it
It’s gonna be something with that znapdragon-x I think, battery life and getting into the 2lbs weight range is hard to pass up, and they aren’t that pricey
It’s weird, in a mobile setup, a single pound or a few watts of power drain make a big difference. Eventually the laptop can run directly off the e-bike batteries through the charge controller 😂. Maybe one day I will just start living in the forest 😂
Ordered vegan subs and a burger with mushrooms, now I shall attempt this thing called relax.
Maybe later I will play Aerobiz Supersonic
“Enhance worker efficiency and productivity” 🤣🤣🤣
Actually, that thing is pretty cool
Nearest thing to a pipboy
Idk what any of those gizmos are
