I’ve only fired on dangerous game one time. My business partner and I went to Africa and a Leopard charged on us. We didn’t want to shoot it but it was wounded and took down the gun bearer so I dropped parallel and took a shot
>>> I’ve only fired on dangerous game one time...
Were you able to keep the carcass?
We did, we donated to a village near us. We speculated they wounded it and could not properly track it
healing. thank you for asking🪵🪵👀

You weren't able to keep the hide at least? Man! Lol
My partner kept the hide 😂
How awesome tho.. sad the cat had to die but glad you put it out of its pain
That’s the remnant I have, that was the round I chambered after firing 😂
The only thing I can shoot are targets, beer cans, garden veggies lol. We had a zucchini shoot out last fall, I won. I dhit the smallest squash haha
I’m glad we put him down as well. He looked tired and he would’ve been eaten by another predator eventually. It’s a shame though I don’t like hunting the cats like that but we would’ve further mauled our gun bearer had I not took the shot. Plus leopards tend to jump from one person to the next. I heard of 4 people mauled in one event
Lions are the opposite they target one person and carry through a charge. Scary stuff 😂
we all get forgotten one day.. no?🐠👏🏻😔
We do, we’re all just specs sometimes. But that also means you can live to the fullest as our time is limited

I can't respect hunters shooting stuff they don't need to eat UNLESS it's an issue animal and taking livestock etc. So many hunters in Canada love going after wolves and bears and cats, who tf is eating that? No one, it's for ego and trophies.
Gift me please I’m cute cute 🥹🥹🥹
I don’t trophy hunt. Everything goes to my freezer. The Africa trip was a business formality and the only dangerous game we took intentionally was a Cape Buffalo and all meat was donated. And that buffalo was selected as he was very elderly and would like not survive longer in the wild
My daughter is native so she can hunt whatever whenever lol. But she won't want to, she loves all the critters. :-)
This is 100% true, you must respect that animal. They belong here same as we do

You eat cape Buffalo? I'm curious what it's like. Tons of meat on them and they are scary mean lol
It was actually fairly good. It’s a like a gamy steak. And the one we took was very mean. We took him at 5 yards as he charged. Which I almost prefer. He went out a warrior same as he lived
A cow prob would have been even better
Those balls sure wreck the meat lol.
It would’ve been, but as I said we were there as guests. I’m not big on those types of hunts. I prefer more tracking to be used
Ahh i was asking which african countrt
>>> Balls wreck everything 😂
Lol!
It's easy to feel spoiled with our grain fed domestic animals.
Yeah husband loves cow elk, I've ever had it
We don't get much for elk up here, southern and more eastern Alberta has a ton.

I can't respect that more. I worked on factory type barns for years, pigs. It's fecking gross man. I loved the pigs and was rather amazing at managing them which was rewarding but it hurt my soul.
Which is why I have four oet pigs who I spoil. Lol
I would rather place a well aimed shot on a deer as it grazes than I would but a package of beef. The deer is living as it should, hunting returns us humans to how we should be as well. That’s why I will not eat fast food ever
I bawled my head off every time I sold one of her babies. Lol. I'm not built for farming lol
You were bawling and your hubs was making the deal 😂
No it was all me, he doesn't do the critter stuff lol.
I built their pen, I buy the hay and pick it up, I manage their winterizing etc. They are my babies so it's my job lol
I’m also feel like people buy them from expecting them to be a puppy dog. Like no they require a lot more upkeep 😂
