My crock pot will be cooking the stuffing while the birds in the oven. Only other oven thing I have are the dinner rolls I’ll do after the turkey is out. And the pie we will make the day before

I'm off the hook for Thanksgiving food this year
Nice! This year like always it’s just my hubby and bestie. A Friendsgiving. The actual day I’ll be at my in laws and she has everything down to a science so I do nothing lol
I do it all. Mom doesn’t have the energy to try and cook anything. And well the kids just want me to do it

This year we’re doing it the week after on Wednesday. Worked around besties work schedule
And it’s mainly a no drama thanksgiving cuz prior to meeting my husband that’s all my best friend and I knew with out our own individual families. Now it’s still just a no drama day for bestie and the food I actually want lol

It really is. One of these years my actual dad bro and soon to be sister in law will actually come to one. Dad hangs with his roomies and brothers partners family is where he goes only..🙄😞
My inlaws spend every holiday with their other kid. I know that hurts a little.
We used to have a huge thanksgiving with all 5 of my mom’s siblings and their kids. We outgrew the house. Now they still do it but mom and my family are in Texas now
I want a big family dinner like that 🥰
It was big ones with my grandma around. I tolerated the family drama for her. That and After mom died as a immediate family stuff like this stopped
It was so much fun. I’d go back to MS for that if mom was able to travel.
