There are different types of rabies vaccines out there, though.. Some of them last longer than others. But i've never heard of a vaccine that was a one or two time deal that protected for life.
Ever heard of polio vaccine
Whenever i've had a cat that got into a fight or got bit outside, the vet always would recommend getting a booster, even if they've already had their shot
I know that they recommend them
When we were kids babies got about three maybe four vaccines now they get 64
