Well, some religious figures are better than therapists. There is a trust factor involved with either. Priests, pastors etc do receive some education in counseling if they went to college

That’s all I meant… if you trust your preacher and feel better like you’re being guided the right direction then that may be all you need! Even with a therapist you have to have a trust factor though
I’m not religious at all, but I have seen others who reached out for counseling through their church and had amazing outcomes. Def not for me or everyone
True…. Church definitely cannot handle everything. I go to therapy and it was life changing. The big thing is yo reach out to someone you trust
