I found Dracula quite a tough read to be honest

I assigned the 7th chapter last year right before the film last voyage of the Demeter came out

Dracula is one of my favorite books ever. But I read a modern swedish translation. Maybe the original in English is more difficult?

Maybe it’s that the way it’s written is through journal entries?

Actually, I liked the way it's written. Reading newspapers and journals creates a unique sense of immersion

It's as if the characters were writing directly to you. Or as if you were a person from the 19th century reading the paper of the day

I need to make some progress on it
