A person who likes to control another person is a red flag and needs therapy. If you have issues, it's your responsibility to fix them and not impose that responsibility on someone else and make them bend backwards for you. If you are controlling, you are more likely to end up alone because people have their own minds. If you are controlling, fix the underlying cause. If you know someone who is controlling, redirect them to the help they need and get away from them.
Then stay away from them. It's their responsibility to fix themselves. Others can only guide them. If they don't want to get better or are in denial, there's nothing one can do. You can't put your life on hold for others. After a certain point, it's okay to say fudge off.
>>> Hell they tell you straight: what are you ...
Peak delulu behaviour. Bwahahahaha! Yeah, I can understand. Accepting that you have a problem ishard because people think they are perfect the way they are. Denying that a problem exists is far easier than taking on the responsibility to get better. Been there, done that. Learnt that that's the saddest decision you could make for yourself as it just causes more damage.
It is still your responsibility to get away. You must try as hard as you can. You can't just give up just because you think you can't get away or that they won't let you. It's your life. You still need to try to get it back.
Sadly, not many will help you so you need to somehow find the strength to get away. If you get help, that's amazing. If you don't, you just need to figure a way out.
If I see a Narc, I am jumping off a cliff. š”
Nope, jumping off a cliff without a parachute. š
You do see them coming. Depends on your mental state. I can see a Narc from miles away so I generally don't get anywhere close to them. š”
>>> Let the force be with you
Gravity force? š
>>> The mother of all forces
Splat! š
Narcs don't go after those who are aware and mentally strongsound. So build that strength in you by getting the help you need.
