>>> Dang that looks good.. shrimp gumbo?, ...
Hello Doom. It's a Creole dish from the Indian Ocean. I'm sure it looks like gumbo. Let me look it up in Google.
It looks a lot like that. In my dish, the base is also tomato. gumbo is a louisiana dish, right? and is it a soup?
Yeah, Louisiana.. but it's a thicker dish so it's considered more of a stew
Gumbo is Creole and Cajun
What's that dish called, Pastèque?
Thanks, sounds good! I. Going to have to try it sometime
Wow, that plating is perfect. What have you got there?
I don't know the name in English. I'll send you the photo. I'll look for a translation in Google.
Do you see what chayote is?
Yep, sounds like a cousin to kale
"sandpaper-like texture and are most suitable for boiling, stir-frying, baking, steaming..."
But the greens above are the chayote shoots, no?
The green stem on my dish is the vine on which the chayote grows. You can find them in almost all AsianChineseThai supermarkets.
With chayote, you can make a gratin. Cook with meat or fish, on its own. It loses a lot of water when cooked, like zucchini. The taste is similar.
What's the meat? A bbq or smoked pork?
Personally, I use pork when I make a stew.
I found a photo for you in Google
I found a photo for you in Google
Oh yeah 🤤 that looks tasty
My message isn't sending. Wait, I'll try again.
I found a photo of the dish in Google: pork and chayote
And is that a chutney or salsa on the side of the original photo?
it's tomato cut into very small small .... small pieces, salt pepper ginger green chili
and a small piece of red onion
Well that's a beautiful dish and it sounds delicious 😋
