i said evolution is a fact and that the theory of it is meant to explain it
then have the law of gravity and theory of gravity as another example as to how a theory of something is mostly a means to explain its happening
and has a theory that tries to explain how it happens
it takes a loooong long time to evolve, often subtle until compared to centuries ago. branches off into multiple different species too, not just one linear species
im not gonna argue basic science with you, sir. your denial doesn't change the fact of evolution

not any specific theories of it
humans did evolve from something though if you're saying they hadn't. not from apes themselves but rather from what apes also evolved from, or at least one of the evolutions leading into apes anyhow. that's the branching I was talking about. there's been other human-like species as well, not just homosapiens or neanderthals. but apes to humans? tbh, I don't think anyone actually considers that a theory beyond religious folks who don't understand talks of evolution
