I like having time to prepare for my calls. Honestly, there is account information I need to prepare, before taking the call. It also helps eliminate dead air.
How many times can you hear "let's play a game" before duct tape sounds like a really good idea
Lol. You need to think of new alternative idea to entertain him
I am trying to get him to go get tablet so he can do his "homework".
I love my nephew, but sometimes he drives me crazy. I have even been trying to get him to go play a game with grandma, because she is not working
That's one thing I worry if in the future when I have kids they be so bored they will throw my markers and craft materials everywhere 😢 😭
Normally it isn't so bad...but he wants me to play hide and seek, but I have to stay by my computer, just in case I get a call.
And they can really send me a call any time.
Yeah same same
I just got a call from a Coordinator about a Start of Care tomorrow at 9am. I'm like I don't even work at that time! Email the morning person 😆 🤣 😂
I work at 8 AM on Saturdays, but during the week, I start at 12:30
I start 4pm-10pm Monday to Friday
Is that less hours than you are doing now?
Then Sunday I can work 8am-7pm
That's a loooooong day
If I'm called to work Saturday that OT for me
Very nice
I asked permission to work 6am-5pm this Sunday so I can nap before Superbowl 😆 🤣 😂
Our calls aren't busy enough for OT right now, and I am guessing it will be that way til Open Enrollment again
That's good
In a way, yes & no. If our calls get too slow, they may start sending people home.
Basically means, they will ask for people to clock out
Yikes
So cost of living in Utah must be way lower than in DC
The hardest months were November and December...with the holidays, and being asked to leave early a couple of times, it definitely put a dent in the paycheck
s
The cost of living in Washington, DC is 35.2% higher than in Salt Lake City, UT.
Oofff yeah
If only I can live in Utah where cost of living is low and still earn DC rate
I just checked out South Carolina....and it is cheaper to live there than it is in Utah
Yeah I like SC. But so many plantations
I think that depends on where you live in the state. Our family did have a plantation, but ended up selling it.
It's at least close to Florida if I want to go to Disney
And cruise ships pass SC also
When my cousin went on a cruise this past summer, they drove to FL to board the ship. She said it was cheaper.
Carnival will have a port here in Virginia very soon then Royal Caribbean has one in Baltimore then Norwegian has a port in Pennsylvania starting next year. I'm pretty excited 😊
That's pretty cool. I am pretty sure we will never be close to a port here....given where I am located 😂😂😂
Yeah you're landlocked
Pretty much, yep. I mean we have a few reservoirs
But those are ice cold, and will send your body into a shock...even during the summer
When I hear Utah I think of the basketball team and then the documentary I watched about polyganism
Utah Jazz is my guess
Yess
I have been to a few of their games. I am not a fan of sports in general, but it's still fun to see in person.
I have also been to Disney on Ice
Very nice
Take your nephew to Disney
I wish I had the money to do that....and the time.
My step-father used to get discounts, and took the entire family when he was still working (Jazz & Disney on Ice).
Yeah
