I would take things you see on television about polyamory with a grain of salt. There are some amazing polyamorous content creators out there. However, there is also content out there from people who aren't actually in the polyamorous community and aren't a good source of information
My status is that I practice solo-polyamory. That means I prioritize my independence, autonomy, and life goals. I try to build my relationships around my life in a capacity that works for everyone involved.
