Nah the “pacific” excludes them
I’ve heard some people consider BC part of it
But Canadians would never tolerate that
Says it includes Idaho western Montana and some of Canada
That’s just “The Northwest”
Pacific is nowhere near Montana

Why? I live there, and I know where the ocean is

I think it comes down to what the people who live in the place would say
I have never heard anyone in Idaho refer to themselves as living in the PNW
From western washington, what about you all
You’ll hear it a little from Vancouverites, but they are so provincial they don’t want to be lumped in with US geography at all
