Start wherever you are at and add a little beyond your comfort zone. Can you walk or run 5 minutes. Add another 5 and build from there. Small changes over a long period of time add up.
Reducing sugars and carbs is sustainable. But not eliminating. I have a mini chocolate treat every other day worth 70 calories. It makes me happy and I keep it bite size. I have a timed lock box to prevent me from overeating the rest.
Everyone enjoys food. It’s like saying you wish you didn’t enjoy sex. Not possible. It’s about feeding yourself lower calorie nutrient dense food. I cook most of my food to capitalize on freshness for taste and maximize the health by using vegetables and spices.

Hunger hormones like ghrelin produced in your stomach increase the longer you go without food so by dinner time you will be more hungry and more likely to binge. For this reason, I eat 3 sensible meals a day and feel it’s great for my body.
I would use a calorie calculator to recommend adeficit that’s no more than .5 to 1 pound lost per week. It’s better to go moderate and choose a .5 pound weight loss because it’s more sustainable.
