Celtics aren't really their rivals like that though, rivals are mostly in division the ones you absolutely have to play every year regardless and more than once or in NBA case twice a year.

The only reason why San Fran and Dallas became rivals is because of how many times they had to play each other just to get to the SB

But you don't become rivals with the teams you face in the finals even if it is repeatedly

Hence why Buffalo and Dallas aren't really rivals but

You just get bragging rights over that team in the finals but not true rivals
