Hardest part for me is money related. We split finances so I didn’t have to feel weird about paying for her going on dates. Then I’ve bought her a lot of clothes and it’s hard to separate the fact that someone other than my partner and me is getting to enjoy them and by extension my hard work

Meh, just don’t buy clothesany more. But also it wasn’t a “her” issue. It was a me issue. And realistically it’s no different than any other gift you give to someone. The point is that’s it’s a gift and it shouldn’t matter what someone does with something after it’s given
