The only thing they did was boost the gpu side of the apuchip, while most console games are cpu heavy its not going to do much performance wise

Psn doesnt have the best trackrecord of having consistently stable servers and customer info being leaked lol

Xbox gamepass does provide better games

But there is a huge but

When they decide to take games off gamepass, you cant play them anymore through game pass you have to buy them

You lose access to your steam account or something right, you cant play those games anymore, the security of always having a physical copy and peace of mind for people thats why they prefer it

And collections sake never know how much games could go for in a few deacades

They arent necessarily being phases out

Just people have different options ig
