It's just sunlight reflecting in the clouds from ice crystals
But instead of a rainbow it looked like that
People were commenting about it online. Apparently it happened along the shoreline and a lot of people saw it while they were driving yesterday
I guess one of the ct news channels explained about the weather phenomenon but I haven't seen the explanation yet
