the usa is 36 trillion dollars in debt. china’s debt isn’t even closer to that. & unlike the usa, they aren’t able to get lower interest loans through exorbitant privilege, nor are they able to print as much money as they’d like while the world absorbs our inflation
and china is also the worlds largest trade partner. by far.

the only reason we are able to exist as a first world nation is our dollars world reserve stataus
it allows us to print endless money to spend on military & defense
& it also allows us to sanction & seize money from countries through the swift system

so exchange rates are high. hence we have to run deficits with countries in order for them to use our system

we do, because the only reason countries give us what we want, is our military security guarantees
and the reason we can afford them, is because we can print however much money we want ton
that’s how we’re able to spend 1 trillion a year on defense spending
wars are low key how we make a lot of our money
we’re in bed with the military industrial complex
and we manufacture weapons which makes up a large part of our gdp
