Looks like the Aussies will finish above us in the medal table now. Hopefully we can still pip France to 4th though.
Yeah we’ve had multiple athletes lose by ridiculously razor thin margins. Peaty got screwed by Covid also. I think overall we’ve had some fairly bad variance at these games.
This time around yes but it’ll be the first time they’ve beaten us since 2004. Incredible sporting nation though no doubt.
