I use black oil paint to draw portraits and they look like pencil drawings but are done with oil paint

I have not tried watercolours too much. I find them difficult to correct and I make many mistakes lol

I love the colours. They are so vibrant and rich.

I mostly do b&w pictures with an element of colour in them

Yes and that’s what makes the painting look more realistic. It’s as dark as using charcoal but doesn’t smudge, once dry
