My fav way to cook is look up recipes or get recipe books and cook it till I figure I did a good job, then tweak it to make it better and it's really rewarding at that point

I forget not everyone is spice inclined like me, The Jamaican in me makes all my spiced food taste amazing

butter to cook the chicken would be better than oil and putting some herbs in the rice with onion and garlic powder will help with taste, and more butter of course

I also think flavor combinations are very important. Pairing tastes and reactions is important to know like pairing sweets with tangy and what pairs well. Like chicken and lemon pepper is always a good combo just like citrus and fish

one of the best things I made was tomato soup and then add a ton of sautéed onions but you BLEND it together to make a creamy smooth delicious tomato soup
