DeadMau5 is still the goat of all edm imo. But there’s so many genres. Midnight T is amazing, blunts and blondes is good(I actually got him to the biggest venue because I partied there a ton and knew the peoples). But bear grillz actually comped me and took pics with me. Excision is a goat too, ngl even Bonnie X Clyde are amazing live with Bonnie singing at my face lol. Ppl throw edm to the side and say it’s all just digital and hitting play, but nah.

Deadmau5 makes actual music…. Excision is an experience in the show you’ll never see anywhere else

I made a ton of money at excision though, so I’m a little biased and had a wild experience. Like extremely wild to the point I was stitched up before excision even got on stage.

It’s cliche, but really listen to strobe by deadmau5 and the way he wrote the melody is extremely creative. Yes it’s repetitive, it’s progressive house, but that melody is really beautiful imo

I’ve listened to a produced my own genres to vast amounts. But deadmau5 is really a pioneer and someone for every producer to look up to. Might be cliche, but this man owns every analogdistortion and the best studio in general ever. He is literally an edm legacy. I like dubstep and riddim too, but his music is always a literal masterpiece imo.
