Arab countries were mobilizing troops on the border (an act of war) blocked the straits and met in Durban and declared the infamous 3 nos “no negotiation, no peace and no recognition of Israel”
preemptively attacking while your neighbors are mobilizing doesn’t erase the fact that it escalated into a brutal occupation and displacement that’s lasted for decades

I love that y mention all that without mentioning the wars they started, suicide bombings, terrorist attacks, tens of thousands of rockets they launched, Oct 7th etc. all the things u mentioned were a result of those. Terrorism and war leads to occupation not the other way around
volence feeds violence, but ignoring the root cause doesn’t make it disappear. Occupation, displacement, and denial of rights breed resentment and extremism
