I mean it’s only a meaningless dumb threat (hopefully), but the fact that it even came up reminded me talking about it last year
Honestly, if it’s a real threat, the only way to keep the US at bay is to go back on the nuclear-non-proliferation treaty and build a bunch of nukes. What would that look like, Canada and the US pointing nukes at each other, what a terrible example
