Nice! I love baseball inmy country too, it’s a great sport!
Think the blue jays are trying to pay him, his price just keeps going up and he’s not worth 500 million if that’s what he’s trying to get
No he’s under contract for this year in Toronto, he will start the season with the blue jays unless they trade him. He’s not a free agent till next offseason
Yeah it’s confusing sometimes with all the details and rules, but he’ll likely be traded around the deadline if the jays stink and they can’t sign him
Apparently he turned down a $350 million extension with the blue jays, I haven’t seen what the total years were, I’d imagine around 10 though
Vlad is overrated, been disappointing in his MLB career minus last year, you can have him for 40 million a year lol
Probably the 12th best first baseman or something
He’s been basically average for 3 seasons and really good for 2, paying that kind of money to a guy that’s more average than good is not something I’m trying to do. If he backs it up this year with another mvp type performance I’ll shut up
You’re right, but as an owner why would you give someone that much per year when their track record is mediocre outside of one season?
That’s how you end up with something like Rendon
He has only an 863 career OPS, and if you take out last year and 2021 he’s basically Nick Castellanos
He also has zero defensive prowess
He openly admitted to not giving a damn about baseball too lol
He won and got paid,he’s set for life
I think it’s cool, as long as it stays a challenge system only
Think it’s worked pretty well in the minors
For sure! I think baseball has made great strides
I love complaining about the umps, they are the reason my team loses every time
