Mischief passed away yesterday. I know he had a good life but damn I'm gonna miss him.

I think at my max, I had 16 not counting the outside stays lol
And it's wonderful that you know that you were able to give them their best lives💓
I try to. It's 400$ for cremation, but it's still worth it
Yeah, vet costs are pretty steep these days, even when your pet is no longer alive😪
He got sick several months ago and was 1200$ for the blood tests and exams. Sadly led to nothing and they couldn't figure out what was wrong.
That's awful that they put him through all that and still can't figure out what's wrong not to mention the cost of it all.
I had a similar situation with my last furbaby. She was sick for a while, but nobody could really figure out what it was or what to do about it. She had an ultrasound, and I had her on all these different diets.. But nothing was working. I just tried to keep her as comfortable as possible. I even had event come to the house to do the euthanasia
I was a bit upset with the vet who did it though. Because our regular vet didn't do that. Sort of thing. So I had to go with a new place and since they didn't know my cat. They insisted on doing an exam before they did it, and I was upset that they were poking and prodding her because I knew she was already uncomfortable and in pain

Yeah, she's got that whole other side of the bed with her cooling mat and catnip toy, and you can see the fountain on the nightstand on her side l o l.. Yet she has to lay where I do. Actually, it's not too bad in the winter because she keeps my spot warm for me🤣
Last night she was good and actually got up when I asked her too. But there are a few times where I had to slide in next to her, because she didn't want to budge and I was partially hanging off the bed🤣
