I am not good with pop culture. It never interested me. I can think of a song or 2 that did. In my teens we moved. A lot. 5 middle schools betwern 3 states and 5 high schools between same 3 states. We were poor so i just istened to the radio. My prized pissesion was a double cassette boom box. Anyway.. most of my music came from recording onto one tape all night and adding songs i liked to different one.
It was very random cuz i was raised on rock but liked new wave as a kid. When i became a teen i just lisened to what ever people around me were listening too. So in south cali it was gangsta rap. When i was in washington it was grunge. When i went back to cali met people into punk. Then i got into rave. Now i like a little of most stuff
Never really followed anyone wih zeal though.
