It's roots sadly. I knew it was going to happen again

I put off digging up the yard but I've got some savings this time around so I'll probably bite the bullet

It's in my yard so my problem. Old clay pipes

There's a few options so I'm going to weigh them all. Either way it'll be multiple thousands of $$

I'm having a guy cut the roots today so we can at least shower and flush toilets until we can get it permanently fixed

There are options for liners that can extend the life for a decade or so. I'm not planning to be in this house that long so if it's cheaper than laying pvc or trenchless I'll prob do it
