When I went for my walkrun there is a veterans memorial with plagues of all our wars from the revolutionary to the last Afghanistan war. Someone left a lot of trash around there. Fast food cups and ice cream cups.It’s a total disgrace. I cleaned it all up and walked it over to the trash can.

Total makes me mad to see all that

I’m a desert storm vet myself

I didn’t do anything. Just rode around the desert lol

I was infantry and that war was a cake walk or like a Sunday school picnic

But I was there and had a tiny taste of what we fight for. I have utmost respect for those who have endured much, much more than me.

My granddad was a WW2, Korea, and Vietnam vet. All infantry. He told me so much about those. One of the reasons I went infantry. He gave me his name badge. It was old and scratch up and I wore it on the inside of my uniform. I miss him so much

Thank you brew. Yep, everything went smoothly, and the dr didn’t see anything that is concerning yet. They are running some more labs, called an exploratory thing but so far so good.
