I don’t know much about that. The shaolin monks do interest me though

It’s kind of a restoration thing, going back to basic theravada buddhism with a focus on meditation. They just take alms and meditate, no martial arts 😆

Yeah, do kind. But the monk hood there is also distorted at some temples. There was a documentary that says the monks took offerings
