There is a difference between not being into the same things as someone, and not being open minded about it. You can still be open minded and not share the same interests.

If you don't share the same interest, you can simply politely state that while still being respectful towards them and their interest. 🙂

Being open minded doesn't mean you have to share the same interest, if they are into something you're not into, you can politely stare you're not into it while still being supportive that they can be into what they want. Just find something else to talk about to keep the chat going. Stating that they are wrong to be into something is not open minded, but choosing not to talk about it politely is perfectly fine. 🙂

Same goes other way too, if they say they are not into what you are into, you can simply change the subject to something else. Not sharing a specific interest doesn't mean chat needs to end, but sadly many see it this way.

If they report you just cos they don't like what you are into, that is definitely not open minded and very much judgemental, which is the opposite

They should only report you if you are breaking the rules of the platform or being anti anonymous

Yeah some think they can do that, it's not nice or fair
