Even most of the beaches here are private
But that’s anywhere in the world haha
I've been other places that were much more accessible
You didn't need money or land to experience things
Yeah it must be a New England thing
I mean other countries and stuff sure
Or maybe some places in mid west etc
And the parks here are crap too
There's graffiti on all of the rocks
Most don’t even allow you dog 🐕
And then the Parks have really weird hours some of them where they have gates up all the time so you can't park..
Most have to park on street near me haha 🤣
And hope you don’t get hit by a car
Yeah I tried walking the linear trail from New Haven to Springfield
You can't even do that in one shot because there are still sections that are not finished
I mean how many years have been they've been working on that?
When public workers get paid by the hour
It still ends in Southington
Why would they do anything fast haha 😆
It's just excruciatingly slow here any type of building project I've never seen anything like it
Other places would have had that trail completed decades ago
Our work force isn’t that big
Everything needs approvals
I was thinking of moving out of CT
If you can afford it there are better places to be.
Depends on what your priorities are though and what you're looking for in life
It’s all based what you like
The daughters wedding is next Sept so I'll see after that
Yeah every place has a different feel and different culture so it really depends on what's the good fit for you as an individual
I just feel like Connecticut could do so much better as far as it's amenities and how it serves its residents
Also wish they would clean things up a bit more and not allow people to trash places here so much
Most of Connecticut doesn’t really have an identity haha
Yeah it's a shame. I mean it has potential but the state just doesn't have the same priorities has other places I guess
I think people come here to keep a low profile lol
It's the state that you pass through to get to another state LOL
It’s all the people that left the city to have kids haha 🤣
And a bunch of blue collar people who live off them
