It’s why I went online to share this, because I just don’t feel safe sharing this with my father.

It’s just, I’ve only begun really questing it seriously. I’m struggling within the context of my environment and the fears of how difficult being trans will be for people going forward.

And it’s just hurts and it’s scary when I’m considering all this to have my dad watching Matt Walsh on the TV

I guess trying to meet supportive groups in person or iron these thoughts out with a counselor might be best for me.

Online is nice but not such a real connection

I have some very good friends online, to be sure. But for something like this I think I really need to talk to people face-to-face.

I think the answer comes down to how good the people in your life are, online or in person.

I don’t know any friends offline who aren’t transphobic. My only supportive family members live out of state. So beyond trying to find new groups and risking that, I am probably better off staying online for this.

Open world Last of Us doesn’t sound like a good idea, too many games are open world to a point I feel it’s beginning to sacrifice narrative.

It’s worth te hunt something new imo. Still Wakes The Deep was a wonderful but short horror game reminding me how good a solid narrative can be.

It’s not that I can’t handle feedback I don’t think, my father in particular is just really bigoted. Like, he told me “the nazis were right to throw transgender people and degenerates in camps.”

You’re correct, if I decide I am transgender I will have to tell him. I live in his house, I can’t hide it.

Not until this election cycle started. He really radicalized far-right recently when he started accusing me of following the devil all of a sudden. My father is an atheist for context.

I doubt it, but anything might be possible. I believe I could benefit from therapy.
