I also need advice

If I delete someones number because they are bad texters And then they feel abandoned and rejected because of my actions but I also feel hurt because of the late replies and am done. Am I wrong?

For example when I texted this person to ask about their health since they were sick at 3pm they reply the next day at 8am Another example was when they texted me in the morning and when I asked a question at 2pm they replied the next day at 9am saying they were with family the previous day. The third example was when I asked about this person's mother's health and he replied the next morning as well

I felt like this guy was inconsiderate So on all those examples I deleted his number The third time this person was upset saying I rejected them

What about being considerate and actually saying for example "I am with family can't chat now "

Just a little heads up

For me it hurt

But what if he does it almost all the time. To be honest everyone these days are on their phones It takes less 2 second to send a message

Just to say u can't chat you busy

But again I guess everyone sees things differently

The first time he just said he was with family He didn't apologize the second and third time but just explain. If you are getting to know someone romantically. Leaving me hanging coming back like nothing happened and not apologizing is a red flag When I ignored him the whole day because I was upset with him being inconsiderate he got upset So I was supposed to let his behavior slide when he got upset when I did the same thing back?
