My mom died 4 hrs ago from cancer

Blessed be the name of the lord. He gives and he takes away. Blessed be his name

I had a great mom. She was the best mom in the world. If someone told me they had a mom better than mine. I wouldn’t believe it for a second.

My mom was like a Hall of Fame mom. The level of forgiveness and patience and empathy she exercised towards me

Her love was excellent. I’m grateful to God that I got to have her.

But she is not God and she can’t take his place. She was mortal. She was finite. She had to leave me sooner or later. She can’t live forever. And I can’t put my entire heart into her as if she is my everything

God will never leave me. He stands by my side. He is not finite.

With that being said, I’m in severe pain right now. Yesterday was one of the worst days of my life. If not the worst.

Days like this I don’t feel like praising God. I don’t feel like I’m happy, joyous, and free. I don’t feel blessed

But i am

Even if I don’t feel like it. I am his. And I belong to him. And he watches over me. To the end.

Love the testimony about your mom 😍

Loss is always hard. Times like this I’m reminded that we’re allowed to suffer and feel anguish that we may continue to turn to Him and to offer up our pain as penance and continued purification

I am so sorry about your mom. I haven't experienced anything like that I can't imagine the pain and loss you feel I am praying for you and your family
