Jesus never claimed he was god For the sakeof argument if the father is god And son is god Than the father and son are equal and the same person. Which clearly not So trinity stands on very weak foundation

John 17:3 states: "And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent." (NKJV) So according to Christianity god sent god? How is this one god? Or Jesus was a prophet sent by father?
