Here I sit, completely unseen. Metal beam rests beside metal beam. Lengths of wood periodically between. A rumbling approaches, drawing your mind, As you look and see down the line. A light ever bright and ever so kind. The ground begins to quake and hum, A whisper of where it’s coming from. Its song grows louder, a steady beat, A hymn of iron, earth, and heat. The rail hums cold beneath my hand, A trembling tether to where I stand. The train draws near, its shadow grows, Its breath of fir...

The train draws near, its shadow grows, Its breath of fire and iron flows. I sit unmoving, lost in thought, Of battles waged and wars I’ve fought. Its weight, unyielding, surges fast, A force that doesn’t heed the past. The light pours in, it floods my eyes, And leaves me wondering: live or die? With aching limbs and heavy sigh, I step away, not knowing why.

I’m thinking of starting a media form of some sort for my poetry

My brother offered to be the reader for it cause he’s awesome
