My test results showed abnormal brain waves, and they claimed that I used "street drugs" even though a number of different mental disorders cause abnormal brain waves. They couldn't even for a minute consider it, even to properly rule it out
Have you tried taking taking this information to another doctor since??
Sometimes you just need to find the right type of specialist to understand what's going on
I was so disheartened by the whole thing that I just gave up and became a total recluse
That's understandable.. Ive felt the same way at times but if you can find the right person, it can make all the difference
Find someone who knows about autism and understands autism, and they can help connect you to the right resources.And because I really feel like a lot of this stuff is connected
I'm unable to stay awake for longer than 6 hours at a time, fall asleep randomly, and also can't sleep for longer than 6 hours at a time either
Like in a couple of weeks, I am going to undergo a sensory evaluation with an o t who knows a lot about neurology and brain injury stuff.. I could not have found her on my own. Though I was referred to her by somebody else that I was referred to by my vision therapist🤣
