Tbh the world doesn’t need more of them so I’d go to a rescue. But If you really need to buy from a breeder, just vet them really hard, like a guy your best friend is meeting off tinder. Don’t buy from them just because they’re friends.

Not saying buying from a breeder is all bad, though I do have my own opinions on it. You just really need to do your homework on them and the lines they have. Some just breed with no worries about the issues the line has
