I generally dislike gaming laptops, because they don't have the power of a regular desktop So I unfortunately don't have much for it, may not be worth it honestly if you're so very limited for time to play

It could the deviced it's saved in, that could be bottle necking the system

Ram could help, but if it's bottle necking at a different spot, it won't make a big difference
