Absolutely, I compliment everyone. Men, women, old, children... everyone deserves a nice pick me up few words from a stranger. A woman told me my sweater was beautiful yesterday and I told her that her face was beautiful lol. It was an awkward response but it sure made her smile.
I agree. Some people just struggle with trust issues and it's their internal battle with their own self esteem not necessarily withtheir spouse. That can be managed, but lack of respect is a game ender
2005 for me! Met him at a bar lol. He did not want to be there (friends drug him to my sisters bday party). He passed my vibe check even tho he seemed super disengaged. I just felt something even tho i generally woukd go for more social, silly and clownish men.
He's still antisocial with others but he's warm and squishy and loving for us and that's more important.
