wa sales tax is 8.9% and oregon individual income tax can be as high as 9.9% plus corporate taxes up to 6.6% if you are a business owner. if you do the math being taxed 10% on your overall income is usually more than sales tax, considering you spend every dollar you make 😶

and if you are not spending your entire income the sales tax model costs even less.

the income tax model is only less if your income tax is below that 9% (which some places in oregeon are as low as 4.5%)

then Washington would be more expensive for you hahaha
