I had an N64 when I was a kid and I bought a Wii because at the time it seemed cool but it was a fad for me and collected dust, I’ve never been a Nintendo fan other than the N64

Americans love Nintendo and are the biggest buyer of their product.
40 million switch's were bought in the American market alone which rivals how many sell within Japan itself.
So suffice to say yes they will hold because it could hurt their company otherwise.
