To be honest I think there numerous issues that do fall into the trans issue that speak louder than there being trans people. The fact that mental illness is still not taken seriously isn’t good especially with how violent people are today.
Read somewhere that the West doesn’t have the infrastructure and healthcare workers to deal with the influx of mental health issues after the pandemic
It’s actually surprisingly worse in countries like China and South Korea where they look down on mental illness
I believe US healthcare on mental illness is one of the best in the world even better than most of Western Europe in terms of care, but what really hurts our system is there’s not enough workers to see all the people who need the help
