Any female for some anonymous fun....pm please...
Ha. We're in winter for most part of the year, it wreaks havoc on mental health.
Did you celebrate new year?
I mean, I worked too, but yeah, I celebrated with a lovely vegetarian dinner and samoosas. So basically, celebrated with all the carbs. 🤭
Does your state celebrate though? I understand that not all states celebrate the new year that was yesterday??
Every state has something
Even today it’s Bengalis new year
Yes, but different date? Like Maharashtra has Gudi Padwa?
Are you here? I have a question.
What kind of bear is best
You're the wrong audience.
Okay. But don't say I didn't warn you.
Question: In all of history, when have women not been persecuted? As in, was there ever a time women in general had independence and free will without being beholden to anyone else?
What about in mythical times?
Not sure if myths are the way to go about it
I only asked because the person I'm having a discussion included that. Also, it's referred to as myth but we don't don't necessarily disbelieve it actually happened.
I mean that’s a broad question
If you look at Hindu scriptures- the women like Draupathi had free will. Even Sita. She had free will. Wars were fought for them.
The persecution and all happened later- much later where people became greedy and said women died when husbands died or women need to bring dowry…etc- mostly in the 18th and 19th centuries. I don’t know if there was dowry killings in the time of kings- someone can confirm
>>> If you look at Hindu scriptures- the women...
In general, did women have independence and was not beholded to anyone?
We can continue later, if it works.
