Just get swooped up, pump the gas, get paid, and get dropped off.
It’s just another day to eat, you can make yourself something delicious, and call it a day!
Or it’s a time where you mourn the genocide of a nation of people…but yeah. Gratitude.
So that’s why we eat, we acknowledge the people whose land we are on, and then we eat again, and we go to bed lol. We don’t have a party like a lot of people here.
No acknowledge the stolen land of the tribe that still exists where I live. They’re called the Shoshone people and we do a lot of work with them throughout the year on campaigns called Land Back.
And yeah I agree. It’s a pretty crappy history that most people ignore.
