Honestly yeah cause in a way, bella gave him hope but he also didn't know he wasn't uhhh actually into her... but her daughter. I didn't think much of it until i saw certain shorts on YouTube

I'd go rewatch the movies at times cause certain moments were nice and or relatable

I listened to the audio books and it was interesting to see Edward's pov in midnight sun lol

I believe Jacob was very much into Bella and she would have given in until Edward's sister came looking for Bella in the 2nd film
