Yeah its just such a slow process working our way through the public healthcare system
Really his only symptom has been not quite learning things you might expect from social interactions. Maybe misreading situations and intentions
Without obvious stimming or having aversion to particular senses; and having a fondness for crowds, chaos, loud noises, unpredictably and new experiences and people; most of the typical clues about ASD are not there, so its taken years to even realise and consider that it might be relevant
